The Label · The Studio · The Software
A small independent label building native macOS software for hardware-synthesizer enthusiasts who want deep, precise control over the instruments they love.
Hardware synthesizers are physical instruments with souls. They were designed by engineers who cared about the sound, not by product managers chasing trends. They reward depth — every knob, every menu, every unmarked button has a reason.
Most of the software made for these synths treats them as generic MIDI devices. We don't. Every Rogue Kamikaze tool speaks the hardware's own language — SysEx, NRPN, the proprietary file formats, the protocol quirks, the firmware oddities. We build native macOS apps in SwiftUI: no Electron wrappers, no cross-platform lowest-common-denominator, no excuses.
The goal isn't to make the synth easier to use. The goal is to give you tools that match the depth of the instrument — so you can get further, faster, with less fighting.
SwiftUI on macOS. No web tech, no shells, no compromises. Software that feels like part of the operating system, because it is.
SysEx. NRPN. MIDI Machine Control. Proprietary file formats. We learn the protocols deeply so you don't have to.
Every Rogue Kamikaze app is built by someone who actually owns and plays the hardware. The tools fit the workflow because the workflow is ours too.
No subscriptions. No in-app purchases. Buy once on the Mac App Store, own it forever, get free updates within the major version.
