Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 30, 2026Overview
Rogue Kamikaze is a trade label that develops native macOS software for hardware synthesizer enthusiasts. This policy covers all software published by Rogue Kamikaze on the Mac App Store.
Data We Do Not Collect
Our applications do not collect any of the following:
- Personal information (name, email address, location)
- Usage data or analytics
- Crash reports or diagnostics sent to our servers
- Device identifiers
- Payment information (all purchases are handled entirely by Apple)
- Any data from your synthesizers or music projects
Data Stored Locally
All data created by our applications — your patch libraries, projects, tags, ratings, notes, and backups — is stored exclusively on your Mac in each app's sandboxed container. For example, for Rogue Librarian:
~/Library/Containers/com.roguekamikaze.roguelibrarian/
This data never leaves your Mac. It is not uploaded, synced, or transmitted anywhere.
MIDI & Hardware Communication
Our applications use CoreMIDI to communicate directly with your hardware synthesizer over a local MIDI connection. No MIDI data is recorded, stored externally, or transmitted over any network.
App Store & Apple
Our software is distributed via the Mac App Store. Apple may collect analytics and crash data as part of their standard App Store operations, subject to Apple's own privacy policy. Rogue Kamikaze has no access to this data.
Third-Party Services
Our applications use no third-party SDKs, analytics services, advertising networks, or tracking frameworks of any kind.
Children's Privacy
Our applications do not collect any data from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this URL with a revised date.
